Soccer Recap: Lemoore Comes Up Short

Lemoore lost against Tulare Western back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lemoore Tigers came up short against the Tulare Western Mustangs, falling 4-1. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Tigers couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Yuan Espino, which was the first he's scored this season.

Lemoore's loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Tulare Western, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-9-5 record this season.

Coming up, Lemoore will take on Hanford at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hanford will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Lemoore surely won't give up without a fight. As for Tulare Western, they will challenge Tulare Union at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tulare Western is facing Tulare Union at the right time seeing as Tulare Union is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
