Soccer Recap: Prospect Mountain Comes Up Short

After flying high against Sanborn Regional on Friday, Prospect Mountain came back down to earth. The Timberwolves lost 3-0 to the Gilford Golden Eagles on Tuesday. Considering the last time Prospect Mountain couldn't score was back in August, the team can't take the result too hard.

Prospect Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 6-3-3. As for Gilford, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-5-2.

Prospect Mountain wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 0-0 draw against Raymond on the 16th. As for Gilford, they will be playing at home against Inter-Lakes at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Gilford are facing Inter-Lakes at the right time seeing as Inter-Lakes are stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
