Basketball Recap: Boyne City Takes a Loss

Boyne City came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 66-45 to the Kingsford Flivvers. While losing is never fun, the Ramblers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 230th, while the Flivvers are ranked 26th).

Boyne City's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Kingsford, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season.

Boyne City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kingsford, they will take on Ludington in a tournament on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Ludington sitting on eight straight victories and Kingsford on ten.
