Scappoose has gone 9-1 against Tillamook recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Indians will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cheesemakers at 5:00 p.m. Scappoose is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 14.7 runs per game this season.

Scappoose is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Oregon's top teams: St. Helens, who was ranked 12th at the time (Scappoose was ranked sixth). The Indians fell 5-2 to the Lions on Thursday. The matchup marked the Indians' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Sophia Bloyd was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.

Meanwhile, Tillamook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against Astoria, falling 22-9.

Jaylin Krumweide made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-1. Hannah Obrist was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

Having lost for the first time this season, Scappoose fell to 9-1. As for Tillamook, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.

Tillamook's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Tuesday. Scappoose has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.8 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Tillamook, though, as they've been averaging only 2.5 strikeouts. Will Scappoose keep running through batters, or will the Cheesemakers buck the trend?

Scappoose was able to grind out a solid win over Tillamook in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, winning 13-9. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Cheesemakers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
