If Leroy Greene Academy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Westlake Charter, they should've done a better job of containing Miguel Montoya. The Westlake Charter Explorers came out on top against the Leroy Greene Academy Lions by a score of 3-1 on Monday for which the team can thank Montoya, who had 18 aces and eight digs. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in aces.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-13, 23-25, 25-16.

The victory made it two in a row for Westlake Charter and bumps their season record up to 7-4. As for Leroy Greene Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-9.
