Queen Creek falls despite big games from Leyton Steenhard and Trmale Tipler

Recap: Queen Creek Bulldogs vs. Corona del Sol Aztecs

The Queen Creek Bulldogs pushed their score all the way to 64 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Corona del Sol 70-64. Queen Creek has not had much luck with Corona del Sol recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Trmale Tipler and Leyton Steenhard certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Tipler scored 16 points along with seven assists and five rebounds, while Steenhard scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Diego Sarabia, who scored seven points along with five rebounds and two steals.

Corona del Sol's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bo Dolinsek, who scored 21 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Crew Swearingen was another key contributor, scoring 21 points.

Queen Creek has not been sharp recently as the team has lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-14 record this season. As for Corona del Sol, they pushed their record up to 14-10 with that win, which was their third straight on the road.

Queen Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Corona del Sol, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Desert Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Corona del Sol is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 61.8 points per game this season.
