Football Recap: McKean Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for McKean's offense. They took a blow against the Howard Wildcats on Friday, falling 44-0. The Highlanders haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Howard found their leader in sophomore Jameson Bryant, who threw for 116 yards and two touchdowns. Speaking of playmakers, who could forget Willie Williams, who went all the way with a kickoff return for a touchdown.

McKean's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Howard, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

McKean wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 53-0 defeat against Red Lion Christian Academy on the 19th. As for Howard, they have also already played their next match, a 46-39 win against Appoquinimink on the 19th.
