Softball Recap: Apple Springs Comes Up Short

Apple Springs and Slocum squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Apple Springs had to settle for second. They came up short against the Mustangs, falling 15-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Friday.

Apple Springs has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season. As for Slocum, they pushed their record up to 17-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

As of now, neither Apple Springs nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
