Only one team fell out of this week's MaxPreps Xcellent 25 National Volleyball Rankings presented by the Army National Guard, as last week's No. 9 Valparaiso (Ind.) lost in the early stages of postseason play in Indiana.

All other ranked teams recorded two or more victories with no change among the top three, as Cathedral Indianapolis continues to roll and moves from sectional to regional postseason play with a 32-0 record.

Jesuit (Portland, Ore.) continues dominate its foes and will carry a 64-match winning streak (over two seasons) into state tournament play this weekend.

And preseason No. 1 St. James Academy (Lenexa, Kan.) has won 41 straight and opens state tournament play on Friday favored to win its sixth state title in the last seven seasons. The Thunder are ranked No. 3 this week.

Meanwhile, Gabriel Richard (Ann Arbor, Mich.) improved to 34-0 with a 3-1 win over 40-8 Notre Dame Prep (Pontiac, Mich.) on Monday to win the Detroit Catholic League Tournament title.

It was the 17th time this season that Gabriel defeated a Michigan A or B Division Top 10 team. It was the third time Gabriel defeated NDP, the defending Division B state champion. As a result, Gabriel Richard jumped to No. 4 in this week's poll.

New to the Top 10 this week is No. 10 Morgan (Utah), and new to the Top 25 this week is 39-2 Fort Bend Austin (Sugar Land, Texas). The Bulldogs have won 24 straight.
