Baseball Recap: Linn Takes a Loss

Linn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 8-1 to the California Pintos. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Linn saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin Dudenhoeffer, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Linn's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for California, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Linn will face off against Harrisburg at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for California, they will venture away from home to challenge Warrensburg at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
