Freeport had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Arnold Marlins, posting a 58-31 win. The Bulldogs not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since December 27, 2024 (when they won 70-42).

Freeport's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Athiei Dhal, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 13 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Olyvia Snodgrass, who shot 47% from the field en route to 21 points and three steals.

Arnold now has a losing record of 1-2.

Freeport wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, an 81-53 defeat against Niceville on the 21st. As for Arnold, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Walton at 6:30 p.m. on December 2.
