Volleyball Recap: Uintah Find Success

The Uintah Utes had just enough and edged out the Millard Eagles 3-2 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Utes.

Uintah wouldn't go down easily and took Millard into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-20, 24-26, 23-25, 15-9.

Abbie Davis was nothing short of spectacular: she had 40 assists and four digs.

Uintah was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2024.

The win got Uintah back to even at 3-3. As for Millard, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Uintah has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against North Sevier on the 15th. As for Millard, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Richfield on the 15th.
