Softball Recap: Mapletown Comes Up Short

Mapletown fell victim to Carmichaels and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Mighty Mikes, falling 15-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mighty Mikes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 last Tuesday.

Mapletown is on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12. As for Carmichaels, they pushed their record up to 12-0 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Mapletown will welcome Trinity Christian at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Carmichaels, they will head out on the road to face off against Jefferson-Morgan at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
