Baseball Recap: Antelope Takes a Loss

Antelope was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 12-3 to the Salome Frogs. The Rams were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Frogs earlier this season, when they won 18-9.

Antelope saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abraham Moreno, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two doubles, and one run. Trane Figueroa was another, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Antelope's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Salome, their win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-7.

Antelope has already played their next contest, a 9-7 loss against Parker on the 21st. As for Salome, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 23-4 victory against Mountainside on the 18th.
