Volleyball Game Preview: Birdville Hawks vs. Argyle Eagles

The Birdville Hawks will take on the Argyle Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Birdville sitting on six straight victories and Argyle on five.

Birdville took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Colleyville Heritage, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Hawks sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Panthers on Friday.

Meanwhile, Argyle got the win against Ryan on Friday by a conclusive 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-17, 25-9.

Argyle's victory bumped their record up to 26-3. As for Birdville, their win bumped their record up to 20-6.

Birdville might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Argyle in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Hawks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
