Volleyball Recap: Douglas Takes a Loss

Douglas suffered their biggest defeat since October 16th on Tuesday. They came up short against the Sturgis Brown Scoopers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Scoopers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in October.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-8, 25-15.

Douglas has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-27 record this season. As for Sturgis Brown, the victory snapped their losing streak at eight matches and leaves them with a 8-21 record.

Looking ahead, Douglas will take on Spearfish at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sturgis Brown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
