Soccer Recap: High Point Central Triumphs

While High Point Central's victory against Thomasville wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bison beat the Bulldogs by a goal, winning 2-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as High Point Central also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2015.

Robert Hurley and Alexander Rojas Vasquez scored both of High Point Central's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

The win made it two in a row for High Point Central and bumps their season record up to 2-3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored six goals over those two contests. As for Thomasville, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

High Point Central didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Asheboro on the 8th. As for Thomasville, they have also already played their next game, a 5-0 win against North Rowan on the 4th.
