Volleyball Game Preview: Holliston Panthers vs. Ashland Clockers

The Holliston Panthers will venture away from home to take on the Ashland Clockers at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Ashland took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Holliston, who comes in off a win.

Holliston took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Walpole.

Meanwhile, Ashland came up short against Westwood on Friday and fell 3-1. The Clockers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Ashland had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 15-25, 25-21, 25-22.

Ashland's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Holliston, their victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 9-7.

Holliston came out on top in a nail-biter against Ashland when the teams last played back in September, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
