Volleyball Recap: Plainfield South Gets the Win

Plainfield South's tournament run continued when they took on Evergreen Park on Saturday. The Cougars came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 2-0.

Emilio Lagunes paced Plainfield South's offense, picking up five kills. Lagunes got some help from Sanvir Bandesha and his nine assists. Alexander Venes controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

The win got Plainfield South back to even at 6-6. As for Evergreen Park, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.

Plainfield South has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Rockford Auburn on the 12th. As for Evergreen Park, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Plainfield East on the 12th.
