Soccer Recap: Gaffney Comes Up Short

Gaffney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 8-0 to the Eastside Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Eastside this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 back in March.

Gaffney's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Eastside, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gaffney will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on James F. Byrnes at 7:30 p.m. on the 14th. As for Eastside, they will head out to challenge Daniel at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
