Fort Fairfield strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past the Katahdin Cougars 10-0. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since May 24, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Fort Fairfield got a great performance from Jonah Leblanc as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Leblanc has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Graedon King was a standout: he got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Levi Cole, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs.

Fort Fairfield's win bumped their record up to 15-0. As for Katahdin, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-2.

As of now, neither Fort Fairfield nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
