Softball Recap: Harding's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Harding won the last time they faced Brooklyn Center and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Knights put the hurt on the Centaurs with a sharp 16-1 win. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by ten runs or more this season.

Avorn Vang was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run over 4.1 innings pitched. Vang was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

In other batting news, Marcela Deloye-Romero was a standout: she got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. Ava Vang was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs and three RBI.

Harding's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-7. As for Brooklyn Center, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

As of now, neither Harding nor the Centaurs have any future games scheduled.
