Softball Recap: West Rusk Comes Up Short

West Rusk fell victim to Gladewater and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Gladewater Bears, falling 15-0. Having soared to a lofty 26 runs in the game before, the Raiders' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

West Rusk's defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Gladewater, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-7-1.

Coincidentally, West Rusk and Gladewater will both be playing Troup the next time they take the field. Gladewater will head out to face Troup at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while West Rusk will host them at 6:00 p.m. on March 18th.
