Baseball Recap: Cooper Triumphs

Cooper gave up the first runs on Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top against the Wolfe City Wolves by a score of 8-6 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Wolves recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Courion Finney, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. He has become a key player for Cooper: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 3-4 otherwise.

Cooper's record is now 7-4. As for Wolfe City, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.
