Basketball Recap: Edgerton Comes Up Short

Edgerton lost against Wayne Trace back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Edgerton Bulldogs fell 41-29 to the Wayne Trace Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 421st, while the Raiders are ranked 118th).

Edgerton now has a losing record at 10-11. As for Wayne Trace, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

Coming up, Edgerton will head out to challenge North Central at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Wayne Trace, they will welcome Riverdale at 2:00 p.m. on February 15th. Wayne Trace is on a six-game streak of home wins, Riverdale a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
