Valley had won 12 straight games and Kanyon Taylor did his part to make it 13 on Monday. The Valley Patriots breezed by the Guthrie Jaguars to the tune of 85-38 thanks in part to Taylor, who shot 6-for-9 from downtown and dropped a triple-double on 27 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 blocks. That's the most boards he has posted since back in November of 2024.

Another player making a difference was Evan Meyer, who went 10 of 13 on his way to 25 points. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.

Valley pushed their record up to 28-2 with the victory, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Guthrie, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 16-15 record this season.

Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Paducah at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Guthrie, they will take on Patton Springs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
