Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Greeley County). They blew past the Deerfield Spartans 58-24 on Friday. Given the Jackrabbits' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 119th, while the Spartans are ranked 321st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory made it two in a row for Greeley County and bumps their season record up to 8-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points over those games. As for Deerfield, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.

Coming up, Greeley County will host Weskan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Deerfield, they will head out to face off against Lakin at 6:00 p.m. on February 21st.
