Basketball Recap: Holdrege Victorious

Holdrege lost to Hershey back in January of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Holdrege Dusters walked away with a 63-51 win over the Hershey Panthers.

Hershey lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Aubry Hall, who posted nine points and four steals. Hall is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Demi Damoude, who had ten points and seven boards.

Holdrege's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Hershey, they moved to 8-4 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Holdrege has already played their next match (against Kearney Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Hershey will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bridgeport at 5:00 p.m. on January 31st.
