Softball Recap: Ray Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Bottineau

Ray faced Bottineau in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Ray Jays lost 7-0 to the Braves/Stars. The Ray Jays haven't had much luck with the Braves/Stars recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Ray's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3-1. As for Bottineau, they pushed their record up to 13-2 with the win, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Ray does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bottineau, they will venture away from home to challenge Beulah at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
