Recap: Russellville Indians vs. Linn Wildcats
After flying high against the Eugene Eagles last Monday, the Russellville Indians came back down to earth. Russellville took a 43-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of Linn. Russellville was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Linn apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played on February 5th.
It was another big night for Kiana Hostetler, who scored 22 points along with eight rebounds and three steals for Linn. Hostetler is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Paige Senevey, who scored three points along with five rebounds.
Russellville's defeat dropped their record down to 18-12. As for Linn, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-10.
Russellville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Linn, they will head out on the road to challenge Tipton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Tipton is coming into the contest with seven straight wins at home, so Linn will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum.
