Softball Recap: Disney II Comes Up Short

Disney II was the 16-2 winner over North Grand when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Titans came up short against the Eagle Owls on Monday, falling 44-19. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (16), the Titans still had to take the loss.

Disney II is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for North Grand, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Looking ahead, Disney II will square off against Westinghouse at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Grand will be paying especially close attention to the Titans' game: after the Titans faces off against the Warriors, they'll take on North Grand again at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
