Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Harmony School of Innovation Fort Worth). They breezed by the Johnson County Sports Association Lions to the tune of 70-27 on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Johnson County Sports Association's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Liyone Johnson, who posted eight points and seven rebounds. Gavin Sims was another key player, putting up two points and seven rebounds.

Harmony School of Innovation Fort Worth's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Johnson County Sports Association, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Harmony School of Innovation Fort Worth will head out to square off against Newman International Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Johnson County Sports Association, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Stephenville FAITH at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
