Softball Recap: Park City Takes a Loss

After soaring to 21 runs the game before, Park City was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They lost 12-2 to the Hillcrest Huskies. The Miners have struggled against the Huskies recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Madeline Reddy was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Park City's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Hillcrest, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-8.

Coming up, Park City will head out on the road to take on Murray at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Miners will need to watch out since the Spartans have now posted at least ten runs in their last four matches. As for Hillcrest, they will be playing at home against Granger at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Lancers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.29 runs per game on average), something the Huskies will no doubt try to take advantage of.
