Basketball Game Preview: Taylorsville Warriors vs. West Jordan Jaguars

Taylorsville is 2-8 against West Jordan since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Taylorsville Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the West Jordan Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Taylorsville is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They had just enough and edged Hunter out 74-72.

Taylorsville got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Logan Bertagnolli out in front who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Bertagnolli a new career-high in steals (four). Another player making a difference was Kobe Allen, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 13 boards.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when West Jordan faced off against Kearns on Friday. West Jordan fell 72-63 to Kearns. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Wednesday (60), the Jaguars still had to take the loss.

Taylorsville's victory bumped their record up to 6-15. As for West Jordan, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-18.

Taylorsville was able to grind out a solid win over West Jordan in their previous matchup back in January, winning 73-60. Will Taylorsville repeat their success, or does West Jordan have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
