There's no place like home for Pendleton, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Broome Centurions a 9-0 shutout on Wednesday.

Laney Jennings made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. Jennings has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. Jennings was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with a home run, four RBI, and two doubles.
