DuQuoin is a perfect 8-0 against Pinckneyville since September of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Indians will welcome the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. DuQuoin's defense has only allowed 10.5 points per game this season, so Pinckneyville's offense will have their work cut out for them.

DuQuoin had been on a three-game streak of scoring at least 31 points, but Benton put an end to it on Friday. The Indians took a 17-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rangers. The loss was the Indians' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Pinckneyville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 64-31 loss at the hands of Frankfort. On the bright side, the 31- point effort marked the Panthers' highest-scoring game to date.

DuQuoin will have to contain Reed Marlow as he made an impact in Pinckneyville's last game. He threw for 222 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 52 yards and one score.

Having lost for the first time this season, DuQuoin fell to 3-1. As for Pinckneyville, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Everything came up roses for DuQuoin against Pinckneyville in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, as the team secured a 42-7 victory. In that contest, the Indians amassed a halftime lead of 28-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
