Soccer Game Preview: Midd-West vs. Susquenita

The Midd-West Mustangs will challenge the Susquenita Blackhawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Midd-West will be strutting in after a win while Susquenita will be coming in after a defeat.

Midd-West headed into their last matchup having not scored more than one goal for three straight, but Halifax let them put that streak behind them. The Mustangs never let the Wildcats get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory on Monday. The win was a breath of fresh air for Midd-West as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

They hit Halifax with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Emery Peters (2), Kaydin Bingaman, Addison Yerg, and Maddie Bonsall.

Meanwhile, Susquenita unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of East Juniata by a score of 3-2. Natalynn Farhat was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on her (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Susquenita's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 9-1 and their overall record down to 12-5. As for Midd-West, they now have a winning record of 8-7-1.
