Basketball Recap: Jefferson Finds Home Court Redemption Against Lincoln

There's no place like home for Jefferson, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They walked away with a 68-59 win over the Lincoln Cardinals on Tuesday. The Democrats haven't had any issues with the Cardinals recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Jefferson's win bumped their record up to 7-13. As for Lincoln, they dropped their record down to 2-18 with the loss, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jefferson will venture away from home to face off against Cleveland at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Cleveland knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine matches -- so hopefully Jefferson likes a good challenge. As for Lincoln, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Cardinals face off against the Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Westview will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Lincoln surely won't give up without a fight.
