Nevaeh Owens Game Report: vs Kankakee

It was a big day for Nevaeh Owens on Monday as she got points on the board for the first time in her career. She shot 42% from the field on her way to 9 points, but sadly Thornridge still had to take a 83-31 loss at the hands of Kankakee. We hope Monday's contest is the first of many we'll see posted here as the season progresses.

Coming up, Owens and Thornridge will head out on the road to take on Crete-Monee at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Falcons haven't beaten the Warriors recently, having gone 0-8 since December of 2019.
