Baseball Game Preview: Rice Consolidated Raiders vs. Palacios Sharks

Rice Consolidated and Palacios are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2016, but likely not for long. The Rice Consolidated Raiders will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Palacios Sharks at 12:00 p.m.

Rice Consolidated fell victim to Palacios and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Sharks, falling 10-0. The loss continues a trend for the Raiders in their meetings with the Sharks: they've now lost five in a row.

For Palacios' part, the team relied heavily on James Trammell, who scored two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Caden Brooks was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two RBI.
