Baseball Recap: Loudoun County Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against John Champe, Loudoun County was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They never let the Park View Patriots get on the board and left with a 13-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Captains in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won nine in a row.

Liam Roos was excellent, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with three RBI and one run. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Bryce Graham also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Loudoun County hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post two or more strikeouts.

Loudoun County's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Park View, they dropped their record down to 0-12 with the defeat, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Loudoun County beat the Patriots by a score of 13-0 on Thursday.
