Baseball Recap: Sebring Picks Up Eighth Consecutive Win

Sebring had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the seven-run drubbing they dealt Discovery on Tuesday. The Blue Streaks put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 10-3 win. Considering the Blue Streaks have won four games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Zach Huret, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Calvin Arjona, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

The victory was the eighth in a row for Sebring, bringing their record up to 8-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Discovery, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-3.
