Volleyball Game Preview: Chambers/Wheeler Central Renegades vs. North Central Knights

Chambers/Wheeler Central hasn't had much luck against North Central recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Renegades will host the Knights at 6:00 p.m. Chambers/Wheeler Central is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

On Tuesday, Chambers/Wheeler Central sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Fullerton.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Chambers/Wheeler Central got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 18-25, 25-19.

Meanwhile, North Central came up short against St. Mary's on Tuesday and fell 2-0.

While North Central had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-20.

North Central's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Chambers/Wheeler Central, their win bumped their record up to 5-12.
