Basketball Recap: Lakewood Takes a Loss

Lakewood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 46-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Watkins Memorial Warriors. The Lancers were probably out for revenge after losing 67-42 to them when the teams met back in January, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lakewood's record is now 0-7. As for Watkins Memorial, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lakewood and Philo will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Watkins Memorial will take on Mt. Vernon in a holiday battle at at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
