It's one thing to be rated as the No. 1 football recruit in a single set of rankings. It's quite another to be the consensus top recruit in your class.

That's exactly the title that North Gwinnett (Suwanee, Ga.) lineman Mitch Hyatt has earned, as he is the No. 1 recruit in the Class of 2015 according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, which take into account all of the other major recruiting rankings in the country.

At 6-foot-5, 271 pounds, Hyatt has the prototypical build for an offensive tackle, but until a couple of years ago he had always been a defensive end.

College coaches are sure glad he switched, as Hyatt is drawing interest from a number of major programs, including Auburn, Georgia, Ohio State and Clemson, which is considered to be the favorite according to the 247Sports Crystal Ball.

This season Hyatt has helped lead North Gwinnett to a 10-1 record and hopes to lead the Bulldogs to a AAAAAA state title.
