University is 1-9 against Fairfax since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the University Wildcats duke it out with the Fairfax Lions at 6:00 p.m. University is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.6 points per game this season.

University is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Palisades on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. University was outmatched by Palisades and fell 59-32. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 754th, while the Dolphins are ranked 186th).
