Foothill has gone 8-2 against West recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Trojans will host the Vikings at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Foothill is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Mira Monte on Tuesday. The Trojans came up short against the Lions, falling 5-1. Foothill's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, West managed to keep up with South until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Vikings lost 3-0 to the Spartans. While losing is never fun, West can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 709th, while South are ranked 339th).

Foothill now has a losing record of 5-6. As for West, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6-2.
