Soccer Game Preview: Grosse Ile vs. Crestwood

The Grosse Ile Devils will square off against the Crestwood Chargers at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Grosse Ile's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Grosse Ile came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 4-0 to Airport.

Meanwhile, Crestwood hasn't lost a match since April 24th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Wednesday. They and Garden City finished up their contest with a 3-3 draw.

Crestwood's draw makes their record 13-2-2 this season. As for Grosse Ile, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5-3.
