Cabot proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by eight) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Catholic Rockets 3-2. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Rockets recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Cabot's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Cabot will venture away from home to square off against Little Rock Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Catholic, they will take on North Little Rock at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games Catholic has played (dating back to last season) have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
