Softball Recap: National Trail Comes Up Short

National Trail was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Fort Recovery Indians, falling 11-1. The Blazers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2022.

National Trail saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Morgan House, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

National Trail's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Fort Recovery, the win keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. National Trail will challenge Valley View at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fort Recovery, they will square off against Russia at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
